Simple Packaged Crystal Oscillators
A crystal clock oscillator (sometimes referred to as a 'Simple Packaged Crystal Oscillator' or SPXO) is a 'plug and play' quartz crystal. It combines a quartz crystal resonator with an oscillator circuit in a single package to provide a fully functioning stand-alone oscillator circuit. SPXOs are used in many applications including telecommunications, industrial and consumer electronics.
IQD’s clock oscillator product portfolio includes SMD packages (from 1.6 x 1.2mm), low power, and tight stability (from ±10ppm), extreme environmental specifications, low ageing, low height, and extended operating temperature options. Our range also offers low jitter and low phase noise models and many alternative outputs including CMOS, HCMOS, LVPECL, and LVDS.
We offer parts qualified to AEC-Q200 standards. Our manufacturing sites are accredited to AEC Q200 (Rev D)/IATF 16949:2016 and, if requested, we can supply automotive frequency control products with full PPAP levels 1 to 5 documentation. Typical applications for IQD's automotive oscillators include ABS and airbag sensors, Engine Control Units (ECU), High speed automotive networks, infotainment systems and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) receivers.
Our low power oscillators (from 0.9V) are particularly suited for use in handheld battery operated products owing to their efficient low current draw.
